Estonian soldiers will take part in the peacemaking operation in Iraq. The Estonian government presented a project to parliament today to send troops to Kuwait, Qatar and Iraq in line with international obligations to provide security in the region after the war. As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed by the press office of the Estonian government, the Ministry of Defense proposed sending up to 55 soldiers to the region on a six-month peacemaking mission.
