Iran's enemies are retreating on all fronts, Deputy Commander of the Guard Corps of the Islamic Revolution (IRGC) of Iran, Brigadier General Hussein Salami, said Saturday referring to the advance of the Persian nation.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has managed to break the geopolitical order imposed by the superpowers" stressed Salami and then asserted that the enemy cannot impose its will on "a nation awake and vigilant."
Referring to the failure of the plans of the enemies against Iran, Brigadier General Salami has said that "Iranian scientists have managed to overcome the scientific borders defined by the major powers, hence, it kills them."
The Iranian military has noted that critics have tried to impose an embargo in science against the Persian country, however, Iranian scientists have made great achievements and progress in the field of nuclear and satellite technology, such as the launches and carrier construction.
He also recalled that Iran currently ranks as one of the best countries in the areas of new technologies and nuclear, biological and aerospace science and agriculture.
In 2011, Iran ranked first in scientific growth in the world, according to the journal Nature.

Meanwhile, according to the Iranian News Agency IRNA, Russia has called for enhanced ties between the two countries. IRNA quotes Feodor Lukianev, Member of the Russian Council for Foreign and Defence Policies, as having called for enhanced cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran, in international relations.
According to IRNA, Feodor Lukianev stated that bilateral cooperation guaranteed security in the Caspian Sea region and also in the Caucasus and added that the two countries will develop close cooperation to resolve questions around the Caspian Sea, guaranteeing peace and security in the region.
