At least two journalists have been seriously wounded as a result of allied bombing. The journalists were staying at the Palestine hotel in Baghdad but they have not yet been identified.

As a Rosbalt correspondent was informed at the Iraqi Information Ministry, a missile was dropped by a US plane during the latest series of air strikes on the city. This information has been confirmed by Al-Jazeera television channel, which was broadcasting live from the scene at the time of the bombing. Coalition headquarters have not yet commented on this incident.
