Chechen field commander threatens Russia

Chechen militant leader Shamil Basaev prepares for new military operations against federal forces. Basaev has made the announcement himself on Sunday during a meeting of field commanders in Chechnya, reports one of the Chechen militant sites.

“A Shakhid brigade “Riyadus-Salikhiin” has developed a series of special military operations specifically aimed at the occupational forces, which will do major harm to them both military and politically wise,” reads the announcement.

Basaev did not specify the exact place of the terrorist acts. He did say the following however: “our strikes will be unexpected and very painful for the Putin’s regime.”

More so, Basaev gave positive feedback of the terrorist act of Mat 9th in Grozny that had killed Chechen president Akhmad Kadyrov. The militant leader had confessed to the crime in the middle of past month. According to him, this “military operation has set the record.” Basaev personally congratulated all the majakheds involved in the execution of the Shiriat's verdict.
