The police of the Moscow region detained a man who threatened to throw his girlfriend from the eighth floor, holding her above the ground by her legs. The police were called by the passers-by who watched the scene from the street.
A criminal case was initiated against the resident of a city of Ozery in south-east of Moscow region, Interfax reports.
"30-year-old resident of Ozery near Moscow had a fight with his girlfriend out of jealousy," the police said. During the conflict accompanied by mutual insults, the man got furious and brought the girl to the balcony of the apartment on the eighth floor of a 10-storey building.
"The young man is very fit as he is a bodybuilder. He grabbed the girl by her ankles and hung her upside down from the balcony, holding her legs for a minute or two," - said a representative of the police department.
He said passers-by called the police. The jealous bodybuilder will be charged under article 119 of the Criminal Code (death threats).
"It is interesting that during the interrogation the detainee was not able to understand what the threat was because the girl was silent while "hovering" in the air," commented the police department.
