Attack on reporter in Crimea

On April 6 webmaster of online newspaper “Crimean line” in the city of Simferopol, Ukraine Dmitry Pozhidaev was attacked.
He said that the four men knocked him down and started kicking, trying to beat his head only. The reporter was hospitalized with brain trauma.

The attackers grabbed his mobile and key from the apartment. The reporter says that the attack resulted from his professional  activity.

This was not the first case of attacking reporters: on March 5 cameraman of Russian First TV Channel Vadim Telichev was beaten in village Simeiz.

Recently, the Crimean Line newspaper criticized Head of Crimean organization of Communists, editor of the Crimean Pravda newspaper, wrote a series of stories on the ethnic conflicts and those involved in them – Crimean Tatars and skinheads.
