Israeli citizen pretended to be illegal immigrant to come back to Russia

The 24-year-old Israeli citizen of Russian origin was detained in Eilat by the immigration police.
For a month the man was saying that he was an illegal worker from Russia, and was concealing the fact that he had Israeli citizenship.

According to the Ynet, the man was stuck to his version during all the stages of the investigation – from the police interrogation to the judicial hearing.

All the time, he was in custody with illegal immigrants.

Only several days ago, the fake illegal immigrant reported the police his ID number and said that he was an Israeli citizen. The man said he wanted to go back to Russia to see his mother, but had no sufficient money for this.
