Adidas Ltd. AG, a major German sports apparel manufacturer, will get $305 million in damages following the favorable verdict in trial against Collective Brands Inc.
Adidas sued Collective Brands (previously it was known as Payless ShoeSource) in 2001 for violating Adidas' three-stripe trademark.
Collective Brands announced its plans to overturn the verdict.
