Smellephone: Crean smartphone that can send fragrances

Through Scentee one can send a relaxing aroma along with a message - For now, the prototype is not compatible with iPhone 5 and Android, but the company said that it will suit Google's platform, through a connection to the headphone jack.

ChatPerf The Japanese company has gone a step further to contribute to the development of communication services. The device, called Scentee, connects to the phone in the charger hole and tanks, with several scents, can be installed through the bottom of the phone.

To send a smell message one must choose one of the scents that are in the device. Pressing the application 'Puff' on the screen of the smartphone, with the adapter connected lights are lit and  a cloud of scent is released.

Obviously for the odorous message a special gadget must be installed.

The company said the new device will also create odors while playing movies or video games. "A relaxing aroma can send through Scentee along with a message to tired friends.

"You can also use the device to add a fragrance to the notification sound whenever you receive a new email," said Aki Yamaji, head of ChatPerf.

The company believes that Scentee will like especially the players 'online'. For example, shooting games can feel the smell of gunpowder, or games like 'Caramel Crush' could produce a sweet odor.

For now, the prototype is not compatible with iPhone 5 and Android, but the company said that it will suit Google's platform, through a connection to the headphone jack.

The device is expected to be released in the month of September.
