Ultralife Batteries gets 40 milion order from unspecified contractor

Batteries and chargers maker Ultralife Batteries Inc. announced a $40 million order from an unspecified defense contractor to supply communications systems.

The order appears to be related to a 62 million dollars order announced on Dec. 17.
The company said that the systems are expected to be delivered next year but didn’t give any dates.

Ultralife Batteries, Inc. was incorporated in 1990. The Company's founders, among the original pioneers of the lithium battery industry, sought to develop and commercialize new, more advanced power technologies

Ultralife is a global provider of high-energy power solutions, communications accessories, and engineering and technical services for diverse applications. The company develops, manufactures and markets a wide range of non-rechargeable and rechargeable batteries, charging systems and accessories for markets including defense, commercial and consumer portable electronics.

More than 5.8 million people voted for Nicholas Maduro at the presidential election in Venezuela. This is more than a quarter of registered voters. Why did those people vote for the man, who, as Western media write, took Venezuela to the brink of collapse?
