The company said that it lost $4 million, or 2 cents a share, in the three months ended Dec. 31 in contrast to a profit of $17 million, or 10 cents a share, in the year-ago quarter.
Its revenue rose 16.6 percent to $739 million from $633 million.
A loss of 5 cents a share on revenue of $731 was expected by Thomson Financial.
