I must say, I have never seen so much Anti-American bullshit in one place in my life ! ! And, at a time when the vast majority of Americans are hopeful of better and more fulfilling cooperation with Russia ! ! If I didn't know better, I would swear this paper was published during the height of the cold war in the 60s or 70s ! ! Are there possibly any more faults that you can find with my country, or my government that you haven't published yet ? ? ? ____________________________________________________
I am really sorry that you feel disappointed of our Web site. I dare suppose, your conclusion about PRAVDA.Ru’s anti-American position is premature. The site publishes well-considered constructive materials and publications of Russian journalists on domestic and international problems.
Unfortunately, you have not mentioned, which publications exactly are the reasons for such a reaction from you. Were those articles published by our Russian observers or our American partners – Antiwar.com – who send their publications to the site as well ? Of course, points of view of Russian and American politicians differ, but we also have so much in common. I would hardly say that anti-American attitudes are rather strong in Russia. Certainly, people are all different, but the public attitude after the Sept. 11 events is still friendly. The same we can say about our site.
Besides Russian journalists, we also publish American authors who are considered to be an opposition in the USA and not allowed to the press there. It is very likely that these very materials submitted but our American partners seem to be the most anti-American ones for you.
I am sorry that we made some faults in publication of such materials: their ratio to publications of Russian journalists is not adequate.
Thank you very much for your reaction. We will try to correct our attitude, because we are against bias viewpoints and would like to help Russia become an equal member of the civilised international community.

Near the United Nations Glass Palace in New York, there is a metallic sculpture entitled "Evil Defeated by Good", representing Saint George transfixing a dragon with his lance. It was donated by the USSR in 1990 to celebrate the INF Treaty concluded with the USA in 1987
