The Ukrainian troops shelled "Topolyok" orphanage in the town of Slavyansk. According to employees of the orphanage, the attack was conducted from the side of the checkpoint of the Ukrainian military, which is located next to the feed mill. Mines also fell in the private sector directly on rooftops, destroying some of the house completely.On Tuesday night, the Ukrainian army shelled an orphanage in Slavyansk. Luckily, no one was hurt in the attack.

The roof of the orphanage was destroyed as a result of the attack. Video footage from the site shows bricks, broken glass, shattered furniture and children's toys on the floor.

"There were no children in the orphanage. They were evacuated on May 23, but teachers were working in the building before July 1," Natalia Lyutova, an employee of the orphanage said.

According to her, one of the shells hit the roof of the building and completely destroyed the whole floor. At the moment of the attack, the orphanage staff were hiding in the basement. None of them was hurt. The attack continued through 1 a.m.. The people were able to leave the basement only the next morning.
