Federal forces warn of possible terrorist attacks in Chechnya

Shamil Basayev, a notorious Chechen warlord, is planning to carry outterrorist attacks in the Shali and Kurchaloy districts of Chechnya, theheadquarters of the federal forces in Chechnya told RBC. The federal forceshave information, according to which Basayev ordered his gunmen to conductterrorist attacks against civilians, religious leaders and representativesof local authorities.
