Militant involved in killing two representatives of authority detained in Chechnya

Officers of the Russian Interior Ministry's provisional operative group and criminal police detained a militant who was involved in the murder of two representatives of the authority. RIA Novosti received this information on Monday in the regional operative headquarters for commanding the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus.

"This active participant in the illegal armed formations, a 29-old resident of Raduzhnoye village, whose name has not been disclosed so far, was on a federal wanted list on two criminal cases," representative of the headquarters Ilya Shabalkin said.

According to him, during the investigation it was established that "the detained militant was involved in the murder of head of Chechen-Aul village's administration Salautdin Tsitsayev and a station's policeman Movsar Dzhavatkhanov perpetrated several months ago." "The detained bandit admitted his guilt under the weight of irrefutable evidence," Shabalkin emphasized.

The Trump administration is looking for a replacement for the American military contingent in the north of Syria. If the United States agrees with Saudi Arabia, the situation in the south of the country will become a lot more intense as Iran and Israel stand on the brink of war
