On Monday afternoon Israel carried out a massive missile attack against the Palestinian city of Gaza. Several Israeli helicopters fired at least ten missiles on various districts of the city. Several explosions sounded in the district where the Palestinian National Authority complex of buildings was located. Missiles hit the ground in the close proximity to the residence of Yassir Arafat, leader of the Palestinian national authority. A fire broke out as a result of the shelling, several cars were damaged. According to certain information, a helicopter which Arafat used for travels in the territory of the authority was also put out of action. According to Palestinian officials, nobody was in the Arafat's residence at the time of the shelling.
