Chechen Administration Denies Information About Government Reshuffles

Chechen authorities deny information about the recent changes to the personnel of the republic's administration and government. Akhmad Kadyrov, the head of the Chechen administration, stated that no officials of the Chechen administration or the government had been fired. He added that certain media had published articles with misleading information about an alleged large-scale reshuffle within the administration. Kadyrov also said that there was no serious disagreement between him and Stanislav Ilyasov, the Chairman of the Chechen government.
