That day, a powerful explosive device went off by a police car leaving several police officers wounded. According to the North Caucasian press centre of the Russian Interior Ministry, the investigation into the case uncovered evidence of the criminals several days after the incident. The detainees have confessed to their involvement in the terror act. It was also revealed that the two were activists of illegal armed formations. The police are currently investigating their involvement in other terrorist acts and attacks in Grozny.

In response to the unlawful December 1 arrest and detention of Chinese tech giant Huawei's chief financial officer Sabrina Meng Wanzhou by Canadian authorities in Vancouver at the behest of the Trump regime, facing possible unacceptable extradition to the US, Beijing warned its high-tech personnel last month against traveling to America unless it's essential.
