One Policeman And Two Servicemen Wounded In Chechnya

In the past twenty-four hours Chechen terrorists wounded one police officer and two interior troops servicemen in Chechnya. All in all federal-forces posts and patrols were fired at nine times. The bandits fired from automatic weapons, and grenade launchers in the Leninsky, Oktyabrski and Staropromyslovsky districts of Grozny, as well as in settlements of the Achkhoi-Martan and Shali districts of Chechnya. Return fire was opened in all the cases. In the morning of November 5, a vehicle with interior troops servicemen who were conducting engineer intelligence hit a radio-controlled land-mine. Two servicemen were hospitalised. The headquarters of the Joint Group of Federal Forces in Khankala (eastern suburbs of Grozny) report that the search for the bandits has been launched.
