The regional operational headquarters under the department for counter-terrorist operations in the North Caucasus reported that on Sunday morning local residents noticed an unknown man near house No. 154 in Mayakovskaya Street, who was installing a self-made explosive device on the curb of the road. The shouts of passers-by forced the man to make a wrong movement, which set off the explosion. The unknown man, who received lethal shrapnel wounds, soon died.
