As a result of a skirmish in the nearby the Pervomaiskoye village, the Vedeno district of Chechnya, servicemen of the Russian interior troops have arrested four militants. The Staff of the Joint Group of Forces (JGF) in Chechnya reported on Friday that the other day at about 06:00 a. m. Moscow time, unidentified rebels opened fire on a checkpoint outside the Pervomaiskoye village. Police officers suppressed them by return fire. Later on, four militants were arrested during a search operation in the area. They had three Kalashnikov assault rifles and one pistol. The JGF Staff added that an investigation into the rebels' case had been already launched.
