According to the information provided by the Regional operational headquarters to manage the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus, local residents reported to militiamen that militants organized a cache with weapons and ammunition in one of the destroyed buildings. In the indicated place militiamen discovered a hideout under a huge pile of construction debris. 108 shells for an underbarrel grenade launcher and more than 6000 cartridges for automatic arms of various calibre were withdrawn from the hideout.
At the same day militia officers discovered another hideout arranged in a 5-storeyed apartment building adjacent to the office of the regional department of Interior.
