Interior Ministry's Mi-8 helicopter crashes in Siberia

A Mi-8 helicopter of the Interior Troops of the Interior Ministry of Russia crashed in the Chita Region. According to preliminary information, a fire started in the helicopter's engine during the landing, and the crew lost control of the aircraft. There were 12 people on board the helicopter.

According to information from the Emergencies Department of the Chita Region, 1 person was killed and 10 people were injured as a result of the crash. People who were injured during the landing of the helicopter have been hospitalized, and their condition is considered satisfactory. Details of the incident are being investigated.
