At least 80 hurt as passenger train derails in Russia's south

 

At least 80 were hurt as a passenger train derailed in Russia's south. Five carriages of the Adler-Novosibirsk train overturned, over 500 meters of railway tracks were damaged, officials said.

According to most recent information, at least 80 people were injured, including children. No one was killed. Everyone, who received injuries as a result of the accident, remains in a stable condition.

Officials with Russia's EMERCOM for the Kuban region of Russia said that the passenger train derailed due to the technical factor. The version of a terrorist act is not under consideration.
