Six Russian soldiers were killed, and seven more were injured as a result of an ambush of a military equipment column in Ingushetiya yesterday evening. The Ministry of Internal Affairs press service told Rosbalt that rebels organized an ambush near the Cossack village of Nesterovskaya in the Sunzhensk region of Ingushetiya. The rebels used grenades and automatic weapons fire in the attack on the infantry vehicle. The soldiers also opened fire on the rebels, however the number of rebel casualties is so far unknown. Later on, investigators found an anti-tank grenade, shells, ammunition and camouflaged clothing at the site of the ambush.
