The Hamas, violent Palestinian-based Muslim movement, owns up this morning's attack on an Israeli army position in Rafah, close to the Gaza airport. Four Israeli soldiers and the two attackers died in action, Haled Masha'al, Hamas Political Bureau chief, announced to a Muslim theological conference, underway in Beirut. The Al-Manaar television identified the attackers as Imad Rizek and Muhammad Jamus, both active on the Hamas military wing. The TV company, under the Hezbollah, Lebanese-based Shi'ite movement, was referring to Haled Masha'al for information.
