Novye Atagi came under mortar fire last night

The Novye Atagi village /Chechnya/ came under mortar fire last night. According to the local administration, the shells hit Lenin Street.

Local resident Banduri Ramazanov sustained fragmentation wounds. An operation to find those responsible for the shelling has been launched.

The other day unidentified gunmen attacked the Dzhalka village in the Shali district of Chechnya. Local resident Taus Kaimova was killed. Several houses were destroyed. One unexploded shell was found during the search of the area.

An investigation into the attacks has been launched.
