A camp of militants has been discovered in Chechnya's Vedeno district.
The regional operational HQ has reported that law-enforcers located the camp among mountains and forests.
More than 500 electric detonators, 18 circuit breakers for explosives, 6 land mines made of artillery shells, exploders, 39 cartridges for under-barrel grenade launchers, a few dozens of 152mm- and 122mm shells, almost 2,500 small arms bullets, 80 kilograms of explosives, grenades, tents, foodstuffs, combat fatigues, sleeping bags and 6 home-made explosives were found in the camp.
During the destruction of the camp there were no militants in it. Law-enforcers believe bandits could have used the camp as a reserve.
The choice of the city of Helsinki is not incidental as the capital of Finland had hosted US-Soviet negotiations on the limitation of nuclear stockpiles in 1969
