Another dead miner found in Vorkuta

On Sunday evening another dead miner was found in the Severnaya Mine in Vorkuta (Republic of Komi, northern Russia) and brought to the surface, the press service of Vorkutaugol reported.

Last Tuesday, there was a cave-in at the mine at a depth of 565 meters. When the accident occurred, 151 people were in the mine. Eight miners were trapped and the rest escaped.

Soon after the accident, rescue workers found one dead miner. After that, they found three live miners and two more dead miners.

According to the latest data, one miner is still trapped in the mine. The search for him continues.
