No Efforts To Spare In Liner, Sub Tragedy Investigation: Putin

Everything will be done to investigate a recent TU 154 liner crash and last year's Kursk submarine wreck, and to make conclusions public, reassures President Vladimir Putin. The federal Prosecutor-General's officers and medical experts will be the first to enter the dead submarine as soon as it is docked, said the President as he was addressing a news conference following a State Council Presidium session. He hopes the nuclear vessel docking will be a success. It is up to top-notch experts to make final conclusions on the air crash, stressed Mr. Putin. He had made an understanding with Ukraine's President for Ukrainian experts to join the investigation. As far as he knows, they have by now arrived in Sochi on the Black Sea coast, where a Russian ad hoc team is working. To instigate suspicion of Ukraine, Russia's partnerly country, is the last thing he desires, said Vladimir Putin. Russian experts do not doubt the authenticity of papers concerning the crash, which Ukraine has offered to the team--they are merely scanty, and of an inferior quality. The two countries' experts will join hands for final conclusions as soon as sufficient information comes. Russia will do all it can to detect the causes of the tragedy, and publicise them, pledged President Putin.
