Federal forces discovered a cache with large amount of weapons and ammunition near Grozny.
According to information obtained from the RF Interior Ministry Department of Regional Public Relations Information, the cache was found in the abandoned farm building that belonged to a local dweller who is an active member of a terrorist group operating near Grozny.
The cache contained a hand-held machinegun, under-barrel grenade launcher, assault rifles, handguns, grenades, ammunition and two "Alinko" radios.
Soldiers found the cache on a tip from the neighbors.
Another cache with ammunition was found during a sweeping operation in the forest near the destroyed thermoelectric power station. It contained 70 grenades for a hand-held grenade launcher and 2,000 ammunition rounds.
