More than 20 terrorists killed in Chechnya by federal forces over past 24 hours

21 terrorists have been killed in Chechnya by the Federal Forces over the past 24 hours. As it was disclosed to a RIA Novosti correspondent by the regional operative headquarters of anti-terrorist operations control in the North Caucasus, an armed clash between terrorists and the Federal Forces took place in the Nozhai-Yurt district nearby the village Beshil-Irzoi. Two terrorists were killed.

In the course of the special operation in Urus-Martan three terrorists were killed, while they tried to shoot back. One of them has been identified. It was Magomed Abdulkadyrov, who participated in the organisation of a number of terrorist acts in the Urus-Martan district. Four more terrorists were killed in a forest of the Groznensky district.

Another armed clash took place in the Gudermes district, south of the Nizhny Gerzel village. The Federal Forces used the artillery fire. After an inspection of the battle field, 10 corpses of terrorists, weapons and a vast quantity of ammo have been found.

One terrorist was killed in the Kurchaloi district. In the process of his arrest he tried to shoot back and as a result of shooting he was killed.
