Russian law-enforcement officers have confiscated large amounts of weapons and destroyed 65 illegal mini-oil refineries over the past 24 hours, republic's law-enforcement bodies were quoted as saying on Monday. In addition, in the Chechen capital of Grozny, police officers have found and destroyed a cache containing 2 rocket launcher rounds, 7 hand grenades, 850 rounds of ammunition, 1.2 kg of TNT and 50 kg of saltpetre. Two rocket launcher rounds, 9 hand grenades, 8 mines, 150 rounds of ammunition and 3 kg of plastic explosive have been destroyed in the town of Achkhoi-Martan.
