Another major bus crash occurred to Russian tourists in northwestern Thailand. A tour bus of Pegas Turistik operator with 42 Russian passengers, overturned in Kanchanaburi province, at about 9 am on October 11.
According to preliminary data, one Russian was killed on the spot, 35 received injuries of varying severity. Two of the victims are in a coma. Thirty-three people were sent to hospital in Sai Yok, two more were sent to a hospital in Pahon.
The causes and circumstances of the accident are now being investigated.
