Chechnya: four civilians blown up over the past 24 hours

Four civilians have blown up on mines over the past 24 hours. According to the republican police department, three local residents were killed outside the Noviye Atagi village when forking hay.

In the Asinovskaya village located in an Ingushetia-bordering district, a 22-year old local exploded on another mine when working on a farm.

According to the department, the number of accidents when local residents are blown up on mines has increased drastically following the beginning of the sawing and harvesting seasons. Policemen believe that people in a field have no protection against mines. The Department's officials also added that the death toll was not exact, but this figure is most likely to have exceeded several dozen human lives.
