Aeroflot jet makes emergency landing in Hungary

Officials said that an Aeroflot jet carrying 64 passengers made a successful emergency landing Wednesday at Budapest 's Ferihegy Airport .

The Airbus 320, flying from Rome to Moscow, was forced to land because of a problem with its nose landing gear and another, unspecified technical malfunction, airport spokesman Domokos Szollar said.

With no more flights to Moscow scheduled for Wednesday, the passengers were expected to spend the night in Budapest unless Aeroflot sends another plane for them, Szollar added.

The number of crew onboard was not immediately available.
