The chairman of the Supreme Council of the republic, Boris Litvinov, said that the Ukrainian forces continue to shell Donetsk. "Our forces are being redeployed in this regard," he said.
Litvinov also said that after the Ukrainian military escaped from the so-called "traps," the militia obtained a hefty amount of military equipment, all produced during the Soviet era.
Earlier, Vice-Speaker of the Supreme Council of the People's Republic of Donetsk Miroslav Rudenko said in an interview with Pravda.Ru that the Ukrainian forces shell apartment buildings in the north of the city of Donetsk. Several civilians were killed.
