Russian General Staff Has No Information That International Terrorist Khattab Was Wounded

Anatoly Kvashnin, the Chief of the Russian General Staff, stated that he had no information confirming that international terrorist Khattab had been wounded in Chechnya. "This information is just a rumour, we do not have any reliable confirmation yet," the General stated. According to him, federal forces in Chechnya are energetically searching for foreign terrorists including such notorious ones as Khattab. According to General Staff's data, there are 200-300 foreign mercenaries in Chechnya at the moment. As to Khattab, he is not "active" and conducts "clandestine activities." "We are looking for him, and we will find him," the Russian general stated.
