Sergei Yastrzhembsky Links Improving Chechen Situation To West's Changing Information Policy

The overall situation in Chechnya has changed for the better, partially due to the fact that "Western media have changed their policy with regard to Chechnya," Sergei Yastrzhembsky, the Russian president's aide, said at a press conference on Thursday. Commenting on media reports about international terrorist Khattab being wounded in Chechnya, Yastrzhembsky said no "reliable information" on the issue was available yet.
