Two gunmen eliminated in Dagestan, following terrorist attack

 

Two militants were killed on Thursday, Feb.14, near the village of Michurino in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan as a result of a special operation. The gunmen could reportedly be involved in this morning's attack on the traffic police checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Khasavyurt.

On Thursday morning, a terrorist attack occurred on the traffic police checkpoint at the entrance to the city of Khasavyurt, killing three police officers seconded from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia's Vologda region. The press center of the Interior Ministry said that the power of the explosive device was up to 100 kg in TNT equivalent.
