Terrorist Act Prevented In Chechnya

Provisional interior office employees have staved off a terrorist act in the Chechen village of Oktyabrskoye. During a regular search through Oktyabrskoye, law enforcers discovered an ambush set 300 meters away from an automobile bridge. Apparently, militants intended to use the ambush to attack the bridge, which is often used by Russian federal transport vehicles. A makeshift 82-mm mortar and 2 grenade launchers, all of them ready for use, were found in the ambush under piles of litter and dry leaves.
