Israeli troops, Palestinian police getting alone

Cooperation between Israeli and Palestinian troops during the Gaza pullout is "very good," an Israeli army commander said Tuesday.

In recent days, there were only three incidents of Palestinian rocket or mortar fire, a considerable drop, said Brig. Gen. Dan Harel, the military commander of Gaza. He also said that Palestinian police have dispersed marches organized by militant groups near the Gaza settlements, at the request of the Israeli military, the AP reported.
