A weapons cache found on the Russo-Georgian border in Chechnya

A reconnaissance group of the temporary post of the Argun Border Station found a cache of weapons, explosives and munitions on the Chechen part of the Russo-Georgian border.

The cache held a non-guided helicopter rocket, grenades, flare mines, 3 kg of explosives, electric detonators, various calibre cartridges to automatic weapons, an automatic gun of foreign make, a PM handgun with a magazine and bullets, submachine cartridge belts, military uniforms and medicines.

According to press service reports, 30 caches with weapons and munitions have been found on this part of the border in the past four months and 60 caches were unearthed there in the past year.
