Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat has ordered an investigation and the arrest of all people who carried out and masterminded the assassination in East Jerusalem of Rehavam Zeevi, Israel's Minister for Tourism, said Qatar television Al-Jazeera, according to this correspondent. Zeevi was killed on Wednesday morning in the Hayat Hotel, which is under close police protection day and night. All three terrorists who shot at the minister managed to escape. Responsibility for the killing was taken by extremist organisation Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine. As it claims, the main motive for the attack was revenge for the killing in August of this year of Front leader Abu Ali Mustafa. He was hit by an exploding missile fired from an Israeli military helicopter.
