A man was run over by a car as he was trying to run across the Moscow Ring Road (known for the Russian initials as MKAD), Interfax reports.
A man, born in 1955, was trying to cross the busy MKAD at 23:30, some 100 meters far from a turn to Leningradskoye Highway.
The man was run over by a BMW in one of the middle lines. The driver of the BMW failed to react properly to the man who appeared on the road out of the blue. The man died on the scene. The traffic on that part of the road was paralyzed for several hours.
