Two famous terrorists, Vakhitayev brothers, eliminated in Grozny

As a result of a special operation two famous terrorists - Vakhitayev brothers, were eliminated in Grozny, Chechnya. Said-Akhmed Vakhitayev was the leader of Wahhabis in the Oktyabrsky village of the Kurchaloi district of Chechnya, the Regional Operative Headquarters on controlling the Antiterrorist Operation in the North Caucasus reported. His right hand and his brother Said-Khusein Vakhitayev was killed as well.

The information about the location of the terrorists was given by a member of the terrorist formation who several days ago surrendered to the police authorities in the Vedeno district, the headquarters reported. He said that he refused to fight anymore and to follow the orders of the terrorists' leaders.

The surrendered terrorist revealed also the location of the arms-cache, which belonged to Vakhitayev brothers and was located in the Oktyabrsky village.

2 Igla anti-aircraft missile complexes, 5 FAGOT anti-tank missiles, 3 anti-tank grenade launchers, 8kg of TNT and RDX, 47 mortar bombs and other ammunition were confiscated from the arms-cache.

More and more terrorists give themselves up to the law-enforcement bodies, the headquarters reported.
