An Ilyushin Il-76 cargo jet serving with the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry took off from Moscow at 2.40 a.m. local time today, subsequently shaping course for Kermanshah, Iran. This Il-76 is to deliver humanitarian relief aid for establishing Iraqi-refugee camps on Iranian territory.
This was disclosed at the Emergency Situations Ministry's information department.
The Ministry's planes will deliver tents, beds, blankets and other essentials to Iran.
