Mohammed Hamza al-Zubeidi, commander of one of Iraq's military districts, was arrested by the troops of free Iraq in Hila, a town 90 kilometers south of Baghdad, announced a spokesman for the Iraqi National Conference party.

Al-Zubeidi is number 18 on the list of wanted Iraqi officials.
