Group of Terrorists Detained in Ingushetia

The Ingushetian police have detained a group of terrorists preparing a big terrorist attack in the republic /Russia's North Caucasus/.

The four detainees had 50 kilograms of hexogen and aluminum powder mixture, an official spokesman for the Ingushetian Interior Ministry reported in a telephone conversation on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry spokesman, the terrorists were detained in the town of Karabulak. On the crossroad of the Dyakov and Yevdoshenko streets the policemen stopped an UAZ car, which they found suspicious. While the documents were being checked, one of the terrorists in the car produced a grenade and threw it at the policemen. The second criminal commenced a pistol fire against them. As a result, three policemen were wounded, the Interior Ministry pointed out.

Nevertheless, four terrorists were detained. One terrorist managed to escape, the Ministry informed. Operative operations to find and detain the fifth criminal are currently being carried out, the spokesman added.

The official spokesman for the Ingushetian Interior Ministry also stated, that the three policemen had received light wounds and according to doctors their state was quite stable.
