Militants throw grenades at a local administration in Chechnya

In Chechnya, militants have thrown grenades at the building of the local administration of the Chechen-Aul settlement, the press centre of the regional HQ for the anti-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus said.

"Early on Thursday morning, two militants in the Chechen-Aul settlement of the Grozny district sneaked up to the local administration building and threw two grenades at its windows. One explosion went off in the office of the head of the local administration and the second - in the corridor," said the press centre.

According to the source, the building sustained insignificant damage. Fortunately, no victims have been registered, because there was nobody in the building at night.

Criminals are being searched for.
